NC’S BRAVEST RESPOND TO MVA WITH EJECTION

At 1920hrs fire and EMS units were dispatched to the area of 375 West Road for the MVA with injuries and ejection. Car 1 Car 2 Engine 4 Rescue 5 Utility 1 and NCVAC responded within two minutes. Units arrived at the location to find a Ford SUV with 7 occupants that struck a tree and rolled over several times ejecting one person onto the roadway. Fire units secured the scene and mitigated all hazards before assisting EMS with patient care. All three New Canaan ambulances and the Medic were required on scene. In total 6 patients required transport to area Hospitals while one person refused transport. Car 1 had West Road command and released all units around 2030.
