ENGINE 4 CALLED FOR MUTUAL AID TO NORWALK

At 0225 hrs New Canaan Engine 4 was requested to respond to the city of Norwalk Station 1-Broad River to cover the City while NFD battled a 2 alarm fire. The fire occurred at 261 Ely Avenue. Roodner court building 15. This is a large 3 story housing complex located in the south side of the city. E4 was released around 0500 hrs.During this time two full crews combined of Career and Volunteer members remained at New Canaan Fire Headquarters for coverage.
