SCBA Training

Members of New Canaan Fire Company No. 1 participated in the annually required OSHA training on a key piece of Firefighting equipment the SCBA Self Contained Breathing Apparatus. Firefighters refreshed themselves with the Mayday protocol and completed a Maze donned with full PPE to simulate an entrapment scenario. Bi-monthly trainings like this one allow for our firefighters to be fresh on their skills for when they are needed the most.
