JULY 8TH FIREWORKS

Tradition is a big part of the fire department. In following with years of tradition members of the career staff and volunteers stood by at Waveny Park for the greatest fireworks show on earth. Because the explosives enter the park early in the day members are required to be on scene until the last shell is blown off. To kill time we enjoyed some barbecue wiffle ball softball lacrosse and little frisbee. A special thanks to Firefighter Mallozzi for Chairing the Family Fourth and spending countless hours putting his heart into the event for the town of New Canaan.
