GASOLINE SPILL

At 1715 Engine 4 was dispatched to the Mobile station at the intersection of South Ave. and Cherry St. for the gasoline spill. Engine 4 arrived to find a 3 to 4 gallon fuel spill caused by a failure to remove the gas nozzle when a driver pulled away from the pump. The pumps safety features shut down the line before Engine 4s arrival. Firefighters applied Speedy Dry and returned to service shortly thereafter.
