FIREFIGHTERS FROM ALL OVER FAIRFIELD COUNTY COMPLETE PUMP OPERATOR TRAINING AT NCFC

New Canaan Fire company was host to a DriverPump Operator course that finished up on Sunday. The class met on six different weekends over the past two months to complete the 48 hour class. The class was for national and state certification and taught by the legendary pump instructor Jim Geis Captain from the Wilton Fire Department. Nine students participated in the class representing five different departments in Fairfield County New Canaan Fire Company 4 Greenwich VFD2 Belltown 1 Long Ridge 1 and West Redding 1. This was the last of three classes hosted by New Canaan Fire Company this spring others were Firefighter 2 and Fire Officer 1. Thanks to all who have helped.
