The firefighters of New Canaan would like to thank Chief Edward Karl for his dedication advice and assistance not only for the last 5 years as chief but also over the 14 years prior volunteering. First Selectman Rob Mallozzi said You have served your Town and the FD with honor and dedication I can not thank you enough for all of your service and love of NCFC1 and our department in a letter to the chief earlier today.Chief Karl is a fourth generation Karl in NC Fire.
