Firefighters could see smoke on Pine Street while heading to the scene. Assistant Chief Jack Hennessey confirmed structure fire. The structure was a detached 7 bay garage. The fire was located in an end bay. The flames had completely demolished the garage door before emergency services had arrived. Lieutenant Don Gesualdi and Captain Eugene Tiani arrived on the second due apparatus and quickly went to work.
