MUTUAL AID STRUCTURE FIRE

At 2335 Engine 1 and Tanker 8 were dispatched to 19 Cherry Lane in the town of Wilton to assist with a structure fire. The Wilton Fire Department along with other mutual aid Companies were battling a fully involved 2-story residential structure fire. Once on scene Tanker 8 was used to shuttle water to the scene of the fire and the crew from Engine 1 was used for manpower. Units operated for about two hours before returning to service. While the duty crew was out of town a crew of both Volunteer and Career members handled three calls for service.
