Cold Water Rescue Training

Thursday, March 20, 2014 – Though New Canaan is a land locked community the town still incorporates many large bodies of water that include ponds, lakes, rivers and reservoirs. It is the responsibility of New Canaan Fire to assist in any situations that involves rescue on these waters. That is why one of our annual training exercises is to re-familiarize ourselves with cold water rescue equipment needed for these types of situations.
