Barn fire on Wakeman Rd

pNew Canaan firefighters extinguished a barn fire at 64 Wakeman Rd on Saturday.nbsp The barn which was fully involved with fire on the arrival of the first engine was largely destroyednbspfirefighters were successful in keeping the fire from spreading to the adjacent house which sustained serious heat damage.ppThree cars were also destroyed by the radiated heat from the blaze.nbsp The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Fire Marshals office.p
